OXR Studios is an anime/cosplay network that creates anime content for YouTube and TikTok. They are known for creating high quality parodies and comedic skits.

Oliver is Russian/Lithuanian.

Q: How did you two meet?

We met during MetroCon in Tampa, FL.

Q: What was your first cosplays?

Oliver’s first cosplay was Sasuke from Naruto, and Nash’s first cosplay was Soul from Soul Eater.

Q: How did you start filming?

Oliver started editing AMV’s at a very young age and wanted to become a film director, and Nash always wanted to become an actor. So when we met, we discovered both of our passions worked well together and decided to start up a YouTube channel.

Q: What was your most favorite TikTok to make?

Our favorite Tiktoks to make are our ongoing balcony screaming series. Where we cosplay different characters and create scripted scenes in public. Definitely attracts a lot of public attention and so they are always fun to film.

Q: What’s your favorite YouTube video to make?

Kakashi’s Cooking Show! Those are always fun and random because there’s not much directing, it’s all improv and packed with surprises. Plus, we all love Kakashi’s accent.

Q; How do you edit your videos on TikTok?

We usually film off the app and edit on Adobe Premiere Pro if it’s a serious edit 🙂 But most of the time if there’s no intense effects, we use the TikTok app.

Q: Any advice for those who want to start a TikTok or YouTube channel?
Just do it! Don’t overthink your ideas. Film what makes you happy and enjoy the process. Always focus on the present-time.

Q: Any advice for those who want to start cosplaying?

Of course! Number 1 rule, Cosplay your favorite characters even if you feel like you can’t pull it off, you’d be much more proud of yourself for doing it than giving up.

If you are on a budget, we recommend either using Ebay or Amazon for buying cosplays. We also had tons of success with shopping in Goodwills and modifying clothes to create our cosplays.
