We are sharing our interview with Herlens “Freezzy Brickz ” Suffrin, the owner of sky Burg Records.
Celebs Fans : Our readers would like to know about the start of your music career.
Freezzy Brickz : Since I was a child I always liked music, and been my passion, my dad put me in a piano class when I was 10 so I’m not gonna call myself a pianist but I know a couple of keys .
I started taking the music business really serious back in 2010 when I got kicked out of my people’s house every body turned their back, I was going through a lot of things,the only time I felt relief was when I put my headphones on and listen to Kendrick Lamar, Bob Marley, Meek Mill,Joey bad ass, I felt these people were speaking for me. Then one of my friends introduce me to a few producers and some local artists, it was about time .
Celebs Fans : What was the inspiration behind launching sky Burg Records?
Freezzy Brickz : The inspiration of launching Sky Burg Records ..is just me being a good hearted and my passion for music. By hanging out around a few producers I realized that Miami has a lot of talented kids that can become megastars if they get the help that they need. And I always liked Rick Ross – Thomas “pee” Pierre from quality music control. Jay-z Birdman..I always saying I would like to be like them one day have my own record company.
Celebs Fans : How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Freezzy Brickz : At Sky Burg Records we try to make the kind of music that anybody can listen and vibe to.
Celebs Fans : What’s your biggest achievement in your career so far?
Freezzy Brickz : My biggest achievement was creating the label and be able to help others and change their lives.
Celebs Fans : Are you covering only some specific genres?
Freezzy Brickz : Our main focus is to cover all genres. But for now we are covering hip-hop, Rap and Trap music .
Celebs Fans : Would you like to tell us about some of your top artists?
Freezzy Brickz : One of my top artist right now is Nova Loosecanon this kid is so dope. He will soon become a super star. He’s in studio now working on his project which should be releasing in the beginning of 2020, sometime in march, with a few features such as @zeoydollaz a lot more and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it .
Celebs Fans : How do you balance your music with other obligations – mate, friends, job?
Freezzy Brickz : I make sure I schedule everything, write on papers, make sure I get done all as per schedule. I don’t sleep much until I reach all my deadlines. My friends come over on weekends play beats, shoot pool drink champagne, then get back to work. I like to stay busy.
Celebs Fans : Tell us about your upcoming projects?
Freezzy Brickz :We will be releasing a single with Nova Loosecanon first week of December and 2 videos.
Celebs Fans : How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business? Are you active on social media?
Freezzy Brickz : The internet plays a huge part in the music business, keeps you connected with your fans. Yes I’m very active on social specially Instagram.
