Q:   First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?

The start of my journey was being hired to work with my own idol Mohombi, that was at the time the artist that had 1 of the biggest songs out at the time and being signed as the first artist of producer behind lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez Redone.
Today he’s the most successful artist from scandinavia and is behind songs as both  songwriter/producer and feature  and worked with the biggest artists in the works like Cardi B Jennifer Lopez,  and Beyonce to mention a few and is a  grammy award winning and nominated artist/songwriter and producer.

Q:  What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?

Believe in yourself, you have to sell yourself and show who you are to the world, if your confident in why you are doing what you’re doing and have a strong vision and story you will be good.
When times get tough keep grinding don’t ever give up.
Your story makes you unique.

Q:  What does it take for you to start working with a new artist?

Now i actually learned that i won’t work with a artists that doesnt work hard on their own career and just expect you to do everything for them and use your connections and name,  I recently took on  an absolutely amazing artist that impressed me so much that i just knew i had to get onboard, but yeah it takes a lot.

Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

Fake it to you make it! And treat people how you want to be treated.

Q: What is you favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car right now?

Right now…

Excuse me by Ro James and a new song with my new artist  Kristofer Greczula thats coming out 🙂

attachment_1541360186

Q :What are your future goals as a Female in the music business?

I want to be a good role model and for the younger generation to see that hard work pays off and to get respect as a female is worth so much, I recently got my dream job with so many opportunities and i’m so excited about that i worked over 13 years for this and it’s been paying off.

Q: What was your most memorable moment to date ?

There’s been a few, i took care of a huge artist concert  completely on my own, no budgets or anything and  managed to sell tickets and took care of venue, had my artists opening and all promotion around it, on my own, and now got a great relationship with that artist because of the hard work i did.
Also getting hired by my 2 own Idols
First one being grammy award winning Mohombi, and also Ro James
That’s 2 extremely talented artists that i looked up 2 i i work/ worked with both of them.

Q :How can we follow you on social media ??

Q: First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?

I started singing when I was 12. But professionally, I launched my career when I was 15. I know I was too young, but I wanted to do something professionally so I did. After a long research and talkings I recorded my first song named “Promise to Myself”.

Q:  What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?

I would tell them to take control of themselves and their lives and do what they love. Singing is their everything, right? So they have to sing!

Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?

I decided to make a new record when I moved myself. I realized I was wrong. Anyway, I was too stressed but also very excited! I think that my excitement was over-writing stress.

Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?

Actually, songs come to me very easily. I am writing around 30 songs a month when I’m inspired. But there are times that I don’t want to make music so it’s not always easy.

Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

My advice that I live by is do what you really want no matter what people are going to say. You know, life is short and there is no time for hard s**t in from other people.

Q: What is you favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car right now?

My favorite song to belt out in the car and sing loudly is Queen by Jessie J. Queen is a women empowerment song that empowers women beauty and word’s standards. And after all Jessie is a great vocalist.

Q :What are your future goals as a music artist?

You mean singing in the Grammy’s or something like that? Haha! Besides the joke, my future plans as an artist is to release my first studio album and to start my first ever tour in Europe and U.S.A.

Interview With Nicole D’ Settemi http://celebsfans.com/interviews/interview-nicole-d-settemi/ Wed, 19 Sep 2018 15:24:50 +0000 http://celebsfans.com/?p=6207 First of all tell us about the start of your professional career? Hi! Thank you so much for having me, I am very enthused about

First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?

Hi! Thank you so much for having me, I am very enthused about doing the interview with you. Just to give some background: I am a published novelist and poet, with the bestselling Amazon novel ‘Addictarium,’ and SIX poetry collections to date. I am publishing the sequel to Addictarium in early 2019, as well as two more poetry collections. I am a very dedicated writer and artist, and practice art in almost all its facets!

Aside from that I own my own magazine network, creative services small-business, and am a former published art model. So I have been a dedicated muse as well as artist, because I love all aspects of creativity!

What attracted you to begin a career as an author? Why do you feel this is the ideal profession for you?

What attracted me to being an author was my drive for poetry from the time I was small. I then decided to turn the poetry into a full length novel / memoir, so my account of addiction in my memoir was definitely approached from a poetic angle!

I’ve always written and have always been creative. It’s in my blood, it’s who I have always always been.

How do you like to be managed? What sort of management style gets the best out of you professionally?

I like working with the new press I’ve republished with because they allowed me a lot of creative control. The main reason I initially felt apprehensive about signing the rights to the book over, is because I had a very detailed and non-commercially-motivated vision for The War Stories Chronicles.

What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?

Just be cool, be you. Relax and have fun too. You can take the profession–the art of it–seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously.

What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

My motto is honesty. My closest friends, family & confidantes will all say the same thing: whatever you say about me you cannot say I am not honest, sincere OR un-apologetically me.

As a reviewer stated – “the draw with this memoirist is that she is un-apologetically herself, no matter the flaws. She can answer why she is the way she is and why she thinks the things she does.”

I really enjoyed that. And this was unbiased. This reviewer pulled no punches, she critiqued ME thoroughly and sincerely herself, so I was really feeling her explanation.

So that’s my thing – be honest. You don’t have to be vicious, brutal, to be honest. Some folks misinterpret ‘brutal honesty’ for being brash and insensitive. That’s not honesty, it’s inauthentic because it’s a pose.

My thing is ‘move through life with honesty as well as grace.’

42246088_669851343391450_4704058206479974400_n

Since beginning your career tell me about a situation that has made you proud. Why was this, and what was the outcome?

I was proud when I one my first award. That was so refreshing. I didn’t want to feel as though I’d pursued something impossible; writing in a complex and in-depth manner for a world which no longer cares about literature.

I was also proud when I was able to relate to a lot of young women. That was really amazing and refreshing.

Who is your role model and why?

I have never liked the term role model. It insinuates perfection. It sets you and that person up for disappointment and failure; unrealistic expectations.

There are most definitely muses who’ve inspired me greatly though; visual artist Matthew Goodsell, writer Anais Nin, poet Sylvia Plath, musicians KoRn and Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, so many more. I definitely look up to these artists and that in a way makes them my ‘role models.’

The music world will learn soon that a New York girl raised in the Poconos can make an exceptional difference in the urban music world.

Jasmine Ortiz is a stunning blonde with a voice that is just as impressive. Jasmine emits so much raw energy & talent that it touches everyone she encounters. Her love for music was evident at an early age.  The gift of music was in her DNA, singing since age 2, began studying the piano since age 3, guitar since age 9, she also plays the saxophone, the viola, the violin and dabbles in drums, she has been an active, performing musician for the last 15 years.

After being offered many full scholarships Jasmine chose the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami; where she was bestowed, such high honors by receiving both Academic Merit and Musical achievement scholarships. Jasmine received both the Presidential Music Scholarship as well as being invited to join and receiving membership within the Foote Fellowship, both difficult to achieve at UM. Although music is her passion, Jasmine is also an accomplished actor and model signed to the Abrams Artist Agency.

Her latest single, ‘Miles Away’, has garnered major attention coast to coast. The video, featuring Ju-Seven and directed by Maria Picon has already got over 160,000 YouTube views in a very short period of time.

Setting the bar high for other artists she can be categorized as one of the most versatile entertainers in the game. Her style is smooth and has a refreshing sound that really captures the element of Hip Hop. She received a video endorsement from Perez Hilton and Love & Hip-Hop New York’s SwiftOnDemand, the original producer for Cardi B. Additionally he is working with her on some exciting new projects.

Currently, Jasmine has just returned from Cali Colombia, working with much sought after Medellin based Urban music producers, and recording new, exciting music, in addition to just wrapping up filming her latest music video. The new bi-lingual music and video are being edited now and getting ready to be launched!  Be a part of the movement by following her on her social media and don’t miss a beat as she moves up the ranks to take her place among other musical icons!

Q: First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?

A: The very start of my professional career began in two ways: Firstly, I started playing piano and singing at age 3, knowing from that point on that music would be a large part of my life. Secondly, I was signed at 5 years old to Abram Artists Agency out of NYC and LA, where I consistently booked modeling, TV and movie gigs throughout my childhood. I have always had a love for performing in many contexts, but there is nothing more rewarding to me than performing my own original music live.

Q:  What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?

A: The best advice I could give to anyone who feels nervous about performing, is to trust yourself. It is definitely important to practice and prepare before any live opportunities, but once you are in the moment, trust yourself and give it your all. I would also say that it is perfectly normal to be nervous, and take any mistakes in stride and choose to learn from them rather than letting them hold you back.

Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?

A: At first it can seem a little stressful to come up with this brand new concept by yourself, but once I am fully immersed in even something as basic as an idea for the record, it becomes 100% exciting, and any doubts I had previously melt away. I love the feeling of having inspiration hit when I’m in my element writing music.

Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?

A: It honestly depends on the track/instrumental that I’m writing to, or sometimes just my emotional outlook on the day. Usually, I can hear a track and be inspired by a concept in under 5 minutes. Then, I take 10-15 to further develop the idea and most times by that point I’ll already have a verse, bridge and part of a chorus down and ready to go. At that point I will start laying down what I have or continue developing the idea until I have a full first draft start to finish in under an hour. If I am coming up with lyrics by myself without any instrumentation or track behind them, the inspiration really just comes randomly or when I’m in a certain mood thinking about specific things.

Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

A: Live without regret, and live without fear. These are my inner mantras, because I much rather look back on mistakes that I learned from, and opportunities that I took, than “what-if” scenarios playing on repeat. Some of the happiest moments artistically and personally in my life have been the result of taking a chance and working my hardest to succeed.

Q: What is you favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car right now?

A: I am OBSESSED with two girls by this up and coming artist Amine (check him out) – “Caroline”, and “Spice Girl”
jasmine1_1

Q :What are your future goals as a music artist?

A: My future goals as an artist are to make cohesive, enjoyable albums that I will tour with to present my music to millions of people around the globe. I strive to be a breakthrough artist, bridging the gap between the Spanish and English pop markets, and finding unity in my cultural identities.

Q: What was your most memorable performance to date?

A: Two performances come to mind for me – one solo and one from the time period when I was in my own rock band. The solo performance occurred at a Haiti benefit concert held at my High School that I was chosen to perform during, and I played my original song, “Give Me a Reason”, on a grand piano in front of the school. That was a really spectacular moment for me – getting to see and hear my own peers’ live reactions to something I had written. It was truly moving. The other performance was during the “Rock Your School” benefit concert that I put together to raise money for my performing arts high school during my sophomore year. I got administrative approval and spent over 70 hours between planning, practicing for, and advertising the show. That was one of the most rewarding experience musically of my high school career, as I had been behind the scenes of every part of the show from start to finish – and seeing it raise over $5,000 bringing in a crowd of 300+ – was mind blowing.
