Over the past two decades, Christy has remained active in the entertainment community and in continuing to further develop her skill set as an entertainer, whether under private tutelage, collaboration with various theatre groups or through experience in her varied performances on stage and film.

She majored in theatre and after a brief hiatus, she managed to secure the lead in a Vin Diesel film that debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. She has continued to create and maintain momentum for herself in the industry by securing predominantly lead roles (and a few supporting) in more than fifteen additional films, three mini series, a news correspondent position, multiple commercials and music videos, along with modeling work.

Christy is set to begin filming an independent film project in Tampa next month and will be hosting a television pilot as well.While awaiting future projects, Christy has been busy shooting a variety of promotional videos for several companies, including Harley Davidson and Bacardi.

We’ve seen her before and she has always left us with the same thought in our minds: “We want more!” Yes, if you saw Romane on the big screen, little screen or stage you would want more, too. She has that special something about her. It’s more than just her physical beauty, which is substantial, it has more to do with the way she carries herself and the way she delivers her lines.

When she says something to her fellow characters it’s as though she has transformed herself into the character she is playing in the movie. And she has been in too many movies and TV projects to even mention here. When she becomes that character, another interesting and rather strange thing happens to the audience: we are transported away from any disbelief we might have brought in with us about how real the movie is and we become part of the film. We don’t have any lines, of course, but we are certainly present within the characters’ reality and their world. One way it can be described is that we are flys on the wall in each and every scene.

Romane has played countless roles and has become each character she has performed. She has convincingly played young women, middle aged women and women in different economic classes. Like Meryl Streep and other established, highly gifted and trained actresses, Romane has the ability to be chameleon-like in front of the camera. When she looks directly into the lens, she has the believability of Garbo, Juliette Binoche, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett  and Marion Cotillard, among a handful of others.

Romane’s English is more than beautiful, it’s perfectly… perfect, just like all of her characterizations have been. Urban Jungle is set for release this month and we are excited about seeing the animals take a stand and about seing Romane again, in all her thespian glory.

She has played several crucial roles in the past year, further cementing her fast rise to stardom. You can see Emma in ‘Lovers and Friends LA’, playing the challenging lead role of Dani – a homeless teen who seems to find herself in constant trouble. The first episode recently aired and Emma received critical acclaim surrounding her sincerity in playing the role with such honesty and depth. Her character brings to light many social issues such as homelessness amongst youth and LGBT difficulties that are often disregarded amidst the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

When we spoke with Emma she highlighted how much this role meant to her stating, “I am proud to be part of something with such a strong message, and I really hope it reaches someone who needs it.”
Emma is currently working on the highly anticipated ‘LA Web Series’: an LGBT love story that follows two strangers meeting for the first time. After the release of the teaser, it’s already gaining a tremendous amount of attention from influential people within the LGBT community and it’s organizations alike. We watched a sneak preview of what’s to come in the first season and we definitely can’t wait to see more! She has star quality presence on screen and her performance was truly enigmatic. This beautiful love story has us hooked!

She is an influence to many young women, proving that no dream is too big. She even got the lead role in the feature film ‘Twerk City’ which is due to be released on Netflix in 2017. Twerk City follows the story of Emily (played by Emma) and how she will do whatever it takes to make life better for herself. It just turns out that dance might play a bigger role in her happiness than she ever thought and that following her heart might actually be her way out of the hood.

There’s no stopping this multi-talented actress and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!

When we talked to our Italian friend in Palermo recently, that’s where Julia is from, he told us that they miss her beautiful face and the way she used to make everyone laugh. He said that she was one of the best comedians he had ever seen and apparently, he has seen hundreds throughout the years. He also told us that when Julia played the character Penelope in the play Ulysses’ Travels he cried because her acting was so real. He also praised her role of Hero in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and when she played Lisa in The Tipping Point, (which was by the time she had arrived in Los Angeles). He pretty much filled us in on every role Julia played in Italy, which were a lot.

We then had to fill him in on what this extensively trained actress has been doing in Hollywood for the last two years. He was astounded by the sheer numbers that all her performances added up to. We needed a calculator to keep track as we went along until he finally told us to quit counting. He was impressed however, by the feature films she has been in and also the music video and the countless short films she’s participated in. All of this, he realized added up to more than just numbers. He was suddenly quiet when he fully understood what all of it really meant. He knew that they added up to experience and maturity and… a career, and he then grasped what the ultimate meaning of it all was: that Julia, because she has been so successful, might stay in Los Angeles forever. We only hoped that there was a box of tissue near him so he could wipe his eyes.

Well, that was a sad day for Italy but a good day for the citizens of the United States of America. We can’t apologize for Julia simply because she might stay in this great country, it is her choice, after all. All we can do is sympathize with the rest of the world, especially Italy, for missing out on Julia. Ciao, Italia.
